Core competences
- operate and operate stoves, treatment tanks and other equipment for drying timber, preparing and drying wood and other wood products and impregnating them with preservatives;.
- monitor the operation of equipment, indicators and control panel lights to detect deviations from standards and ensure that processes are carried out in accordance with specifications;.
- help maintain process equipment and machines as required;.
- clean, lubricate and adjust equipment;.
- transport materials and products to and from work areas, manually or using trolleys, wheelbarrows or lifting devices;.
- fill in and maintain production reports;.
- operate valves to load the treatment tanks with the different solutions; maintain the temperatures, hydraulic and vacuum pressures, as well as the specific levels, of the different solutions during each of the cycling phases.
- activate hydraulic or vacuum pressure pumps that expel the air and steam from the boilers and force the impregnation of the wood pores with the solutions in order to accelerate the treatment.
