Core competences
- operate graphic cameras and other photographic equipment to reproduce print-ready copies on film, plates and digital output devices;.
- use computer applications to generate images, text, sketches and impositions for printing and for display in other visual media;.
- operate plate preparation equipment to reproduce film images on printing plates, digital output devices and presses;.
- operate computer equipment with a screen for scanning, color separation, color correction, masking, creative design, blending, imposing, retouching, and other processes used to transfer to film, and produce plank film.
- take digital and chemical evidence from digital and positive and negative film systems;.
- assess the galleys, check them and correct them to guarantee their quality;.
- prepare and expose pigment paper to deposit on the cylinder by the transfer method, and develop images.
