The assistant accountant collects, checks, records and process accounting, financial and administrative documents in order to :

- to help report on the company's activity, situation and development. He/she works under the responsibility of an accountant or

- He/she works under the responsibility of an internal or external accountant or chartered accountant; his/her degree of autonomy varies according to the organisation and the size of the company
