Core competences
Define and plan phases of the operations to be carried out on the basis of the instructions received and/or the supporting documentation (diagrams, drawings, procedures, list of materials, etc.) and the relational system.
Prepare tools, equipment and machines necessary for the different activities on the basis of the type of materials to be used, the indications/procedures foreseen, the expected result.
Monitor the efficiency of instruments, equipment and machines, taking care of routine maintenance activities.
Prepare and maintain work spaces in order to ensure compliance with hygienic standards and to counteract fatigue and occupational diseases.
Cooperate in welcoming the customer and collecting information to define the status of the motor vehicle.
Cooperate in the identification of the actions to be taken on the motor vehicle and in the definition of the work plan.
Cooperate in the restoration and checking/testing of the functionality/efficiency of the motor vehicle or of the repaired/replaced parts, in compliance with the procedures and safety standards.

Description of the procedure to participate to a training course
It is possible, with a validation of previous competences to be included in a regional path with a reduction of attendance hours. On the other hand, there is no possibility of obtaining a qualification or of obtaining an exemption from the course attendance only with the validation of the competences.

In order to obtain the credits and to achieve the qualification, it is necessary to contact a Regional Training Agency. This agency must be part of the network of training structures authorised by the Region for the certification of competences. In this specific case, it will provide a regional path for the Operatore alla riparazione dei veicoli a motore qualification.
